A day of culture today, first I went to the Inca Museum, then the Museum of pre Columbian Art, and finally the Machu Picchu Museum, no photography allowed in any of them, but a good insight into the ancient culture of the country, pre Spanish invasion.  I had a delicious lunch, there really are some very good restaurants in Cuzco, and decided to have one last try at a pisco sour.  I met a lovely women at the Remota hotel in Puerto Natales, and she said that the pisco sours were better in Peru, well she was right. I had two, they were so good.

After lunch I went to two contemporary art galleries, and did some shopping, bought a new woolly hat as left mine in a hotel somewhere on this trip.

This is the half way point on my trip, I can’t believe I’m half way through this adventure already, I have seen so many wonderful places and I have so much more to see too.

  1. Hi Susan!

Wow you look like you’re having so much fun! I’m back in sunny Singapore and am living vicariously through all your updates. Keep in touch (my email should be in the comments) and let me know if you are ever in this part of the world!

Monisha (the “lovely women at the Remota hotel in Puerto Natales” I hope/ your fellow Milodon cave explorer!)
