Here is a selection of photos I have taken around the city this year. I took these photos of Lisbon, in September, from the Amoreiras Viewpoint, before it closed indefinitely due to Covid restrictions. At 174 metres above sea level, the viewpoint provides a 360° view of the city.
One early morning in January, I was in Parque das Nações. The morning mist partially hid the Vasco de Gama Bridge, making the traffic crossing the 11 mile long bridge seem to disappear.
In August I moved apartments, slightly away from the city centre, I now live on the twelfth floor of a building which has views over Lisbon. I can now see the sun rising and setting, and recently there has been some rather good ones.
One morning while I was waiting for the rain to ease up so I could go for a walk, I saw this double rainbow, a nice start to the day.
